For someone who finds the words "scammer" and "motivations" so offensive you got a hell of an attitude.

You made an account to specifically badger a person so good riddance. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Is that what I did? I thought I made an account to ask questions about the product Chris was selling and then he posted that I said people think he's scammy on tumblr (I totally did! people do think he's scammy!) so obviously I came here to personally attack him in the same way. But keep on keepin' on guys.

EDIT: Still waiting to be banned for my heinous crimes of "applying critical thinking" and "encouraging people to be informed consumers"

Whatever will I do without quality posting like this from the racketboy dot com forums to enrich my life and broaden my horizons once I've been banned

Just list off all your additional questions/concerns that you want Christoph to address and post them. Ask him why they chose to do X. Or why X costs Y.

The other users can then read the responses and form their own opinion and decide whether or not they wish to order the product.

I wouldn't mind seeing more info about the product but nitpicking and making snide remarks towards one another isn't going to help.

If you made a single post outside of this thread maybe I would believe you came here for a purpose other then attacking him. Every single one has been either A.) whining about the product or B.) slandering the creator. You have brought up some good points but every response that doesn't 100% agree with you gets ignored :P.

Definition of a Troll=
One who purposely and deliberately (that purpose usually being self-amusement) starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers.

I came here to specifically discuss this product. Please explain how I'm ignoring everyone who disagrees with me by responding to everything they say.

All of those are directed towards your arguments ("FOAD with your bullshit skepticism") and your specific actions in this thread, not towards you as a person per se. I'm not openly insulting your character as a human being (declaring you to be a scammer, suggesting you aren't a real retro-gamer, etc.), though I am increasingly tempted to do so.

Please explain how saying that "people think Analogue are scammers" on a different website constitutes the character assassination you accuse me of.

Is saying "hmm I wonder if this guy selling an S-video cable for $29 without even mentioning it's length(or any information at all) much might not be a great person to conduct a business transaction with" really such horrible slander? Could it not be possible that you're over reacting a tiny bit? Perhaps because Chris got kind of hysterical when I started posting?

And by all means, if you're tempted, please say exactly what's on your mind about me as a person. Let it all out :)

FFS

kinda shady

try to act slick

Why not be honest

too many weird things I've been hearing about these guys

shady as hell

If you're not a scammer, prove it

looks like you're trying to take advantage of their enthusiasm and willingness to drop cash on the things they love.

This poor put-upon CEO act is amazing

I understand the moderation here is all great pals with you, and I'm sure you've provided them with many "services", perhaps that influences the culture here

I have misgivings about the product, the company, Chris's business practices, etc.

the product he designed to cash in on the ~retro craze~

^ This is all from posts you made badmouthing Chris and/or his product WITHOUT ANY REASONABLE BASIS. Its all an attempt to undermine his character and his product because you personally don't care for it or how it is being advertised. But, you aren't offering any useful criticism or any enlightenment about the product, its pricing, or Chris himself - in fact you are spreading some misinformation and passing along inane opinions/others' baseless accusations.

Define useful criticism because I've provided plenty of problems I have with the product along with my misgivings about the ethics of it's creator. Shit, neverminnd I forgot you think anything that's not ass kissing is a very serious personal attack at the poor well-meaning guy trying to sell you a $500 Nintendo.
