When mods give me shit for "not talking enough about video games" I'll cite this thread as a 'to why' I'd rather talk about strawberries sometimes.

Don't think anyone should be banned, buy I do think people should act like adults and speak to people as if they were face to face and had accountability for their posts.

And 80% of my posts (guesstimated) are silly and personable. I'm always honest so I hate the phrase "to be honest" but since it works for some people, "to be honest" this thread has been the worst I've ever seen in my "tenure" at rb.

As the the horse in Ren and Stimpy would say, "No sir. I don't like it".

This discussion should have been

"Too expensive, explain the cost"

"No need to explain cost, it's about supply and demand"

"That's dandy, but can the guy justify the cost?"

"He doesn't need to justify squat, people will buy it or they won't.

"Just seems incredibly high when it comes to price, but I gotcha. Not my bag of tea."

I feel like this thread was an infinite loop.

Code: Select all

route20: "This is terrible and you don't understand why!"
everyone else: "We understand why. Let's move on."
repeat

I think the Analogue Nt looks very cool, but there's no way I would be able to afford one. I'm sure those who can afford it will be very happy with what it is.

I hope this thread can get back on track. I haven't had the time yet to post my full thoughts, the good included. I've only said, well, negative things about the console so far.

There is an ignore function on this site. It can work wonders. It stops you from responding to overly argumentative and rude people. Then you don't look so antagonistic yourself.
