Re: Gauntlet Making a Return
I've played the new PS4 version entitled Slayer Edition. Absolute garbage.

Well that sucks. I loved Gauntlet Legends and was looking forward to a new Gauntlet, especially after the subpar Seven Sorrows on PS2. But with everything I've read I think I'll pass.

I remember having so much fun playing this game back in the day. If it remakes a return, I hope it is good.

The remake is already out actually and is... well... pretty bad sadly. I hope that at some point they do release a good gauntlet game. I have watched footage of the DS game that was cancelled and it looked genuinely fun.
P.S. Welcome to the forums!

Gauntlet is out already on Steam and I think other stuff, it's not jaw dropping awesome but not awful either, fairly average. It's a snore playing alone and kind of cheapo too since it wants to force you online to play 4 players. Personally I like the non 'legacy' version of Gauntlet Legends from the N64/DC/arcade era a lot more.
