http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/05/retro ... over-hdmi/

And I'm sure like previous models Compatability and sound will suck Donkey Nuts.

BUT it does sound interesting.

I'm still getting original hardware though

*Mod edit*

Pile of patched for imports here.

Damn, I wonder if this thing is actually outputting RGB and/or Stereo audio over that HDMI?

I'm more concerned with Compatibility If I could get this thing and Flash Carts running on it, I'd be set plus it'd save me 4 or 5 slots in my power strip. Probably Cheaper than getting an AV Famicom, Super Famicom, and Genesis modded for S-Video.

i'll be keeping an eye on the development of this...i hope the console doesn't look weird and it supports more games than it's predecessor.

I'm aware of the gbp. I've had one for years. The interesting thing here is the hdmi output, assuming of course that its actually utilized as opposed to just offering easy connection to modern tvs.The best you can do on a gbp is component, provided you can afford the expensive proprietary cable.

Not that Component is anything to sneeze at. I hardly use my GBA player anyway.
