I agree, it is refreshing. I actually spent time eyeballing the cover trying to see if he wasn't hidden somewhere.

got the book for Christmas and finished reading it last night. It's great. Although I had already read most of these articles on the site in the past, I find that having them organized together by subject like this AND in book form to be even more compelling. Really, the HG101 material just feels more book-like and I look forward to further volumes.

Just ordered a copy. If this is anything like their first book then I'm sure ts fantastic. It's cool that the next book is on Konami but man if anyone can pull off a Castlevania book it's HG101's Kurt Kalata.

And oddly enough I just got the latest Retro Gamer and in it was a interview with Kurt. He says their next book is the Castlevania series.
