Mega Man 10 announced

Post by jfrost »

Since no one seems to have posted this already, Mega Man 10 was announced.

Same formula from MM9, the difference is that now there is going to be a third playable character (I bet it's going to be Bass).

I'm glad this is happening, as I'm a big fan of Mega Man, but I'm frustrated, since I don't own any of the current-gen consoles and thus wasn't able to play the last game.

Anyway, the link to the announcement is here, from Nintendo Power: http://nintendopower.com/images/NP250_DLmega.jpg

I posted this at about the same time! Mods, feel free to combine topics, or just to delete mine. I actually should have posted it in this section anyway.

Bass would be cool, but I'm guessing it will be Roll.

Although I'm secretly hoping for an 8-bit, time-traveling Zero!

YES! I'm really glad they're doing this. I'm also glad that the other characters are there from the get-go, hopefully they won't go overboard with the DLC again.

I'm excited, don't get me wrong, but I would much rather they work on a new 16-bit MegaMan X title.

I love what they did with MM9, but another MMX complete with SNES graphics would be beyond fantastic.

I am a sucker, and actually downloaded all of it... I also downloaded all of the alternate costumes in SFIV. I love retro Capcom stuff though!

I'm actually hoping that Capcom takes a bigger risk and releases some sort of new IP done in this retro 8-bit style.

My Mega Man Collection disc suddenly feels very incomplete.
