Red Dead Redemption
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Limbo
Call Of Duty: Black Ops
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Super Meat Boy
Heavy Rain
Bioshock 2

Halo: Reach
Alan Wake
Goldeneye 007 (remake)
Xenoblade Chronicles
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Rock Band 3
Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow

NICE! I actually have that one on my shelf, too. I was between Xenoblade Chronicles and Metroid Other M, and decided I'd just see which of those two games found their way to me first. So Other M won. That said, I have a few other 2010 games I may dip into later in the month. We'll see how it goes.

Yes! I’ll put Elminage down for a bit so I can dive into Alan Wake and Limbo.

Limbo and Kirby's Epic Yarn were two of my favorite games of the past decade. Those are really solid choices.

Here's a handy-dandy list of releases for the year.

Pedantry go! Only games released Jan. 1 2010 are actually 10 years old. But then the numbers don’t look as cool, and I favor anything that gets more people playing more games.

I'm sticking to a 2020 full of 2010 games when it comes to TG (Whenever possible at least) and my first games for this month is nothing less than GLADIATOR BEGINS!

Played this game briefly a long time but the gameplay seemed solid and quite enjoyable, now it's time!

Wiki list of 2010 Games

Such a solid year. DQIX is one of my favorite games of all time, and a lot of games released that year are on the short list of “Games prfsnl_gmr Really, Really Needs to Play” (Super Meat Boy, Limbo, Alan Wake, Bayonetta, Deadly Premonition, Enslaved, Vanquish, Ace Attorney Investigations, Xenoblade Chronicles, Castlevania: HoD, Castlevania: LoS, Ys Seven, Ys: The Oath in Felghana, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX, Nier, Secret of Monkey Island 2 Director’s Cut, etc.). I could play these all year too.

In 2010, I had only one child, and she was less than a year old. I was also only four years into my career, working like crazy, and restoring an historic home in my spare time. That didn’t leave a lot of time for gaming, and I missed a lot of these titles. (Also, I didn’t own a 360 or PS3 until 2013 or so.) Still, I got through some good games from that year, mostly Nintendo titles, and I highly recommend:

3D Dot Game Heroes
Bit.Trip Runner
DeathSmiles
DKCR
DQIX
Kirby’s Epic Yarn
Mega Man 10
Metal Slug XX
Metroid Other M
Professor Layton & The Unwound Future
Rage of the Gladiator
Sin & Punishment Star Successor
Super Mario Galaxy 2
VVVVVV

Once I started each of these, I really couldn’t put them down until I finished them. Have fun!
