So, I'm going to ask a question, knowing full well the answer to it, but, the lone Ultraman vote is yours, right Popo?

I voted for shmups, only. It is all I want, even though participation would be guaranteed to be low.

It's actually not. My boy Gunstar has my back. I'm not voting unless I need to break a tie.

CRPGs and reboots for me. I can think of enough series that have had reboots that have games I'd like to play. I play shmups, which would be my third choice, but it's not usually my go-to genre because I'm generally not great at them.

I always knew you were my bro.

Things are fairly close right now. No clear front runner. It'll be exciting to see how things turn out.

I went with reboots and shmups, but it's still pretty close.

Nice choices Popo. I voted for Pokémon (since I'm in the 'never played it' camp) and Shmups, which I suspect will be the victor here. I was really tempted to vote for CRPGs, but nearly all of my RPG gaming these days is via handheld platforms (and to me these games always feel like something that should be played on a proper PC). Shmups would actually be a great choice for December though since it tends to be a pretty busy month, and they (shmups) don't usually require huge investments of time.

For those still deciding, Wikipedia has a good list of games that were reboots:
