I've got wing commander 3 and 4 lined up, with some shooting gallery gsmes on deck! After that, it's gonna be Double Switch, Wirehead and so much more! Also folks, fear not your choices! Whatever you may be hesitant to play, let's talk it out! I will be more than happy to talk about games you are curious about but need more info on.

But I mean... you could just play them (not for TR). :D

Ugh, I don't know what I'll play for FMV month myself yet. I admit, I was into the idea in the original thread, but then I got all geared up to play Neo Geo stuff so now I'm not totally sure. I'll figure something out before next month anyway. I'm actually pretty surprised FMV won. I'm not mad, just surprised. But if it means a lot of participation and conversation for TR then I'll be pleased with the outcome.

I'll not be playing anything that normally gets mentioned as an 'FMV game' usually, but I will be playing a selection of games that fit the 'live action FMV cutscenes' requirement.

Definites are Shinobi X for Saturn and Wing Commander III for 3DO, but I'm also trying to obtain an affordable copy of Mr. Bones and Suzuki Bakuhatsu to play too, if possible.

Does anyone know if there's anything that would prevent me playing the Japanese copy of Mr. Bones instead of the English language releases?

I'll probably go through Corpse Killer on 32XCD, Sewer Shark on Sega CD, and Super Wing Commander on 3DO.

Sigh. Oh well. If one of the points of TR is to get people out of their comfort zones, April will do that for me.

I am sorry that the forums didn't conform to your needs! Luckily, you have options if you want to participate. If not, ahhh well. Can't win them every month.

I’ll note that just about every game released on CD media during the 1990s had FMV; so, a lot of stuff qualifies for this category. (Like...a ton of games.) I think that so long as you comment on the quality of the video, games like Jumping Flash 2, Resident Evil, Mega Man X4, etc. would all count. I don’t think the game has to necessarily be a FMV QTE game...

That said...I’m going to be playing Double Switch and Her Story. I might also fire up the Wii ports of Mad Dog McCree and Dragon’s Lair II.

Elkin specified that it had to feature live actors, so that does trim it down a bit, but that does still include a lot of selections.

OK. That narrows it a bit, but still leaves a lot of games.

He also said 90's, which excludes Her Story.

I... have no idea what I'll play yet. I'm not even sure what I have access to yet.
