The answer is no. The FMV is supposed to showcase live actors.

Yep this was my takeaway as well. Bit of a shame (IMO), but I can understand that it would likely over-broaden a category that's already pretty broad. On the positive side it's definitely an opportunity to evaluate titles I would never have considered otherwise.

So, it's not simply "FMV games" (ie: those mostly comprised of FMV), but is those plus any that "contain" FMV, but it's gotta be live action and from the 90s. Right?

Game has to have been released between 1990-1999.
Game must include at least one instance of Full Motion Video containing a live human actor(s).
