Should I take a shot in the dark and assume one of the choices will include "Games that remind Elkin of Neptunia Month", or should that be a given?

lol, well, I may well have "Compile Heart" or "Idea Factory" as a category, but I wouldn't narrow it down QUIET that much...maybe.

Voted for Rare and licensed platformers. All good choices though, that's for sure.

Just save a few PC Engine Duo games for that month, that should cover it. I'd probably roll with something like Valis .

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, this poll is now officially over, and the winning theme was Licensed 2D platformers . Now's the time to gather up games you want to play ready for January's Together Retro thread!I'm going to be trying to beat these games for the first time: Batman (NES) Little Nemo (NES) Mickey's Wild Adventure (PS1)And I plan to try and replay at least a few of these: The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse (SNES) Tiny Toons Adventures: Buster Busts Loose (SNES) Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers (NES) DuckTales (NES) Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu (NES) Animaniacs (Mega Drive) Castle of Illusion (Mega Drive) Quackshot (Mega Drive) Aladdin (Mega Drive) The Lion King (Mega Drive) World of Illusion (Mega Drive) Asterix (Master System) Asterix and the Secret Mission (Master System) Castle of Illusion (Master System) Land of Illusion (Master System) The Lucky Dime Caper (Master System) Deep Duck Trouble (Game Gear) Legend of Illusion (Game Gear)

I'm going for the Asterix games on the SMS as well as Hercules on PS1. Might dig around for something a bit more esoteric but those are two I've had a while.
