I suggest that Ack volunteer to do the October month. I'd like to see the options he gives us for spooky themes.

I like the way we are re-tooling together retro. This has me excited to join in again. I'm thinking about what options I might suggest for a TR theme. Nothing comes to mind immediately. I might need to ruminate on this one for a moment.

Since it looks like most of us are good with "themed" retro months, we need a structured method to determine who gets to set each month's theme. I suggest we ask for volunteers. And then those volunteers put together a poll of their own ideas for themes, then let members vote on the most popular idea that volunteer put forth. So by the time a given volunteer's month rolls in, said volunteer's top voted theme is vested and ready.

I volunteer for March, if no one contests.

now that I've had time to brainstorm a bit on some themes, I would like to volunteer for a month as well.

sure, sure. I have no preference on which month.

I know Bone and Elkin (and maybe others?) volunteered in AJ's January thread.

Anyway, when should I plan to put up my themes to vote on? A week or two before Feb 1st? Or sooner?

Do you really want to learn what kind of pain I can inflict?

I want to add, when people create voting polls, if close call good ideas don't get picked, I think folks should feel free to roll said close calls over into their own voting pool, if they so desire. If a good idea doesn't make it into one month, maybe it will the next.
