The shooting in Bioshock is like the shooting in Fallout 3/NV/4, it is a secondary mechanic to the story and atmosphere.

I played through the original when it came out being "good", this time I am playing the HD re-release (free on steam to those who owned the originals) and I am harvesting the crap out those little sisters this time around.

damn, this thread is not doing well.

Admittedly I had every intention of playing this month and then got totally sidetracked by the Overwatch Halloween Event along with the games I've been playing w/ my wife.

I'll try to remember to actually fire up Bioshock again. Maybe tonight.

Yeah, makes me sad.

If it wasn't for that crash on Bioshock Remastered PC, I would have probably beaten it by now. I had so much fun with that hour haha. I'm set on just getting the PS4 collection someday and will play those versions.

I've really just had no time for sit-down gaming this month. I'm afraid I won't be able to participate either then with the schedule I have through the rest of this month

So I finished the Remastered version and thought I would post some point form opinions, keep in mind I played this upon release when it first came out and loved it.

- The remastered version on PC is a joke, some things, like the water, I actually think look worse, barley anything was a step up
- The story still holds up today, but it does not feel as epic and engrossing of a world as it did when it first came out
- The gunplay feels even more sloppy today than it did when it came out
- It is still one of the most amazing games I have played, even if I think Infinite, despite its downfalls, is the best in the series.

I guess I didn't play Bioshock this month. I blame Overwatch's Halloween event.
