I started it up myself and agree with Bone on that so far, that was my one complaint with Xenogears too.

If I remember right, Breath of Fire 3-4 did this look a lot better. Couldn't you rotate the camera but it had fixed isometric angles?

So I loaded up the Saturn version last night. I made sure I had my translation guide at the ready, along with the UK Saturn magazine guide I have and I was ready to get into it.... And then less than 5 minutes in I thought "screw this" and gave up. I honestly wonder how I got through this game in Japanese. I used to have the patience of a saint.

So I think I'll just buy it on PSN (or maybe buy a PS1 copy. There's a few reasonably priced ones on ebay at the moment). I'll probably play it on the Vita.

I know. I love my Shield. I always enjoy RPG's on handhelds, so I figured this would be a great way to play it. :)

I've gone past jelly into Polaner All-Fruit. Lookin sharp.

Anyone emulating this having sound issues? Seems both my PSP and my PC (ePSXe and pSX) have some icky noise glitches, at least at the opening cinematic. Seems to stop there, but I'm hoping I don't run into problems later. Would play on my PS1, but the thing is acting finicky as to what it wants to read...

This is the best way to play a RPG - watching the Cavs while grinding to level 3 before even going to the ruins.
The iCast was only on to make the pic look cooler.

Yeah I stream them. There are a couple different ways like the Fox Sports Go app.

I was going to say, so far, at level 13, I have never had to grind. In fact, by just exploring the dungeons and working on my spells, I've had absolutely zero issues fighting the boss. They end up doing a max damage of around 4-6 points of damage on me. Been so freaking easy!
