This arcade classic from Sega has a TON of ports -- who's interested?

Oh man December already!

Ultima IV remains unfinished.

I'll be trying this out. I have it on TurboGrafx-16 of all things. May also try to unlock the arcade version on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

I've been playing it on the GameEx forum in the past month, I can now get over 10 million with no problems. I also played it on Shenmue quite a bunch -- my first playthrough I got the "Saturn" version for the home after winning the drawing at the convenience store so that's a lot of free plays there.

I'll be trying a few different ports with a focus on the version that's on Sega Arcade Gallery (GBA).

Welcome to the fantasy zone. Get Ready!

I'll play it on either Shenmue or the Ultimate Genesis Collection. Bone, it's not too difficult to unlock and plays quite swimmingly.

I can't stress how much better the game is with a joystick. Without it, it's just a generic shooter, nothing really special. With it, it's a classic.

Wish I could play on a full motion cab like one is supposed to because the way the game draws you in by making your body follow patterns and enemies is amazing.

I'm *really* hoping I can manage to finish it before starting another TG RPG in January...

The full-motion deluxe cabinet is the most amazing arcade experience out there IMO. If you are able to get to Fun Spot in New Hampshire and play it, I would recommend it! I have no idea where any others might be.

I absolutely love Space Harrier, for some reason though I prefer to play the Sega Master System port instead of the emulated arcade version on Shenmue or Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. There's something about SMS that I just really like. I think part of it is that the character doesn't return to the center when you aren't pressing anything.

I've ordered Space Harrier 3D and am planning on moving my Apple II monitor close to an audio device and try to ACTUALLY PLAY IT IN 3D THIS MONTH. I know it's actually a different game but we'll see how well that goes!

I loaded up Space Harrier II on the Genesis collection (Steam) and it really sucks. I'm considering using this game as an excuse to check into Forever Amiga. Maybe.

I will be, yes. Maybe try out the Ages version on PS2, also.
