Went with Klonoa. Looks intriguing. Haven't played too many platformers from that era.
I'd be okay with Bonk too. Own it, but have never beaten it. If it's not picked it'll likely end up on my Summer Challenge list.

With the exception of Sonic and Knuckles these are all solid choices.
