Love this Treasure shooter, but wish I was better at it...
Who's up for this gem?

I am on board! Gotta expand my SHMUP experience and Ikaruga is as good an excuse as any!

I'm in for Ikaruga. I may be cross-posting in this thread and in the shoot 'em up of the month thread.

Been trying to pick this up at the lower end prices but it's in a bit of a price spike atm. Might just fork out anyway.

What port are you looking at?

For once I'm in for a together retro. I've played a ton of Ikaruga on the Xbox 360 and own it on the DC and Gamecube. Its one of my all-time favorite shmups even though I still could never dream of a 1CC.

I don't know what it goes for in Europe but the Gamecube version on ebay seems to do around $30-35-ish... Sometimes lower.

Currently the DC version is $50+. A couple of auctions ended at a lower price than fifty but it seems the DC port has jumped a little.

If I had to guess, noise will be playing on PC.

I am playing on PC. Already posted a score in the other thread. Got it for $5 in Steam sale, hd, tate, leaderboards and can use my new HRAP.

I'll be posting a score update here and in the SOTM thread tomorrow night, after I get a playthrough in (GC). My previous scores in the past aren't all that hot, just can't make it past Round 2 right now.
