I haven't had a lot of trouble with the new enemies, so far, only because I've had good items (fire arrows, exploder). Anything's better than Egypt right now. The crushing objects are very sensitive, you'll die even on the very edge of one.

You know Olaf's shield can block the little ones, right?

Yup! It was the first thing I did. The final part of one of those stages added conveyor belts where all 3 had to make it on their own, pretty much. That's where it got a little frustrating.

Uh oh -- special judgement reserved to poor players like myself from THOR!

Full text of THOR message on 15th attempt I got today:

Thor: This is the voice of Thor, Viking Lord of Thunder.
I am real angry with you guys.
Eric: How have we displeased you, Oh mighty voice of Thor?
Olaf: Why can't I see you?
Thor: Would you want to be seen with Vikings that have failed 15
times to get through a level?
Eric: But...
Thor: In my day, Vikings were faced with much tougher levels, and
we always got past them on the first try!
Olaf: Always?
Thor: Do you doubt Thor? Now go out there and find the exit!!!

There's also a new message after 50 (and 51) retries.

Factory level 5 of 8. Level 22 overall. Tons of things I had to get just right and that required tons of restarts on my end.

- dropping the bomb in the corner on the saw that had 3 additional bombs

- dropping the bombs just right in the gaps where the electrical boxes were

- having to shoot accurate arrows on the two buttons in the wall while avoiding fire from a gun on the other side (also dropping down just right as not to lose health from falling too far)

- doing the same with the 2 levers at the very end of the level

A lot of precision was required, and I just kept getting all screwy with it. Now you know if you fail a level so spectacularly and repeatedly, the off-screen king of all vikings with blue dialogue boxes is very displeased with your performance. It was kind of a funny moment, so it was worth it. Sure beats the "HEY POOR PLAYER!" message from Blazing Star anyday

There's actually one of those "kill all enemies" yellow X items hidden in the wall to the right of the saw. 8)

Yeah those are tricky. Best to get Olaf and Baleog on the platforms together so Olaf can block and Baleog can shoot.

I do agree that dropping bombs while jumping is somewhat annoying. Thankfully there aren't too many stages where this is required.

I love this. I certainly saw these message a few times when I played through the game.

!

Well that would have worked. I just scrolled the screen far enough to the right eventually just so it wouldn't shoot anymore. There are lots of places where not moving too quickly really helps.

I cleared Level 31 -- the hardest level in the game (apparently)! But, after about 60 attempts, seriously. I got the 50th and 51st try message that I posted about earlier.

It's the one with --

Bubbles at the start
2 moving platforms over spikes about halfway through
& the final area before the exit where you have to pump, jump, and dump to the exit.

2 more levels in the Wacky world, then the final area!
