I think I might play the NES version as well as the Deluxe fan Remake, now to assemble the old dream team!

Probably going to play the v2 enhanced DOS version of Maniac Mansion. I heard the Amiga v2 is pretty much the same thing except with "improved" sampled sound, but really all it is are really cheap-sounding drum samples and bass samples--that's it. The rhythm sounds off to me as well from the original listening to it. The only other difference are lighter skin colors on the characters. IMO the DOS version sounds more appealing.

The enhanced remake I heard borrows a lot of graphics from Day of the Tentacle as well as the interface and that rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

Anybody planning to play older computer versions better be aware that there's a part in the game on those versions that you'll need to be able to reference the physical manual to proceed. With that in mind I'd suggest anyone emulating stick with the new remake or the NES port.

I remember (temporarily) swapping Sonic 2 (after I had completed it) with the Megadrive port of Devil Crush back in the day. It was a good swap, my buddy got to play through Sonic 2 and I got to try out a rather unique pinball game.

After a while we swapped back as agreed.

I think I will at least try to play the PC Engine versions of the Crush games.
The graphics are a bit Giger-esque, no?

I'm not sure about Maniac Mansion - I think I would like to play it (and do that before Day of the Tentacle), not sure I will have time for it.

Ivo.

Hopefully racket or another mod can update high scores in the OP.

I'd really like to see everyone get into video pinball this month via the gateway drug that is the Crush series. I don't expect this to stand for too long, but let's get it started...

Devil's Crush (fast speed)
20,217,000 - PCE

i plan to play roughly one Crush game per week this month, so come at me
