So instead of getting to wrapped up in beating each other, I figured this would just be a nice way to keep track of our personal bests.

i tried the GBA version last night and yes it is a different beast to control...especially on a micro GBA

well you can tell right away that the jaguar version has superior graphics and sound  control wise, the GBA version moves much faster. the enemies also seems to behave differently in gba.. for example. i can move past by them without getting grab all the time. so it's definitely a different experience for gba..so i wouldn't compare our score.

yeah. From what I've read (IGN I think?) the GBA version is almost arcade-perfect graphically. I started listening to the Jag soundtrack while playing the GBA version since the arcade original didn't actually have music. I'm gonna try to track down an actual copy of the soundtrack. :) Anyway, like I said -- the scores are more for us to keep track of our personal bests, or see how others playing the same port are doing. :)

EDIT: Sevin, what was yr best score on GBA?

So I'm playing the PS2 Atari Anthology port and I totally shot spikes while warping to the next level.

while I watching the computer play by itself, I swear it did the same thing. But I haven't been able to do it. I'll have to try again.

You do have to shoot quickly. If the spike is too long you won't be able to break it down fast enough.
