I'll be giving it another try. I played the game briefly a couple of years ago, and I remember feeling like the controls sucked.

This months game comes at a great time as my gf recently got 'Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters' and it's really put me into a Godzilla / Rampage kinda mood.

Also it's a neogeo game which makes it awesome.

King of the Monsters brings me lot's of nostalgia from my misspent youth in the arcades. I loved the novelty of a wrestling game between giant monsters. I would always play as the giant King Kong look-alike gorilla (this certainly wasn't the first video game to draw inspiration from King Kong). It was great fun to "accidentally" destroy a building while fighting another monster.

I seem to remember the kids on Nick Arcade playing a variant of this game with different stages.

I've been using Astroguy and I've gotten through (what I presume) is the first wave of enemies. Is there some science to using special moves in this game or should I just turn the turbo on and have at it?

...I know.

ANYWAY yes, Godzilla Domination is awesome, and it really is basically King Of The Monsters with better controls and the real licensed Godzilla characters. So yeah. It rules.

I actually have a pristine CIB copy. 8)
