Awesome top down action in the way that Natsume were great at. One of my favorite action games in general for the SNES, but sadly you might have to pay out the nose for it.
What was once deemed a classic is kind of hard to go back to. Still a good game but that rubberband AI is some of the most aggressive I've ever encountered.
One of the better early SNES shooters. Its restrained technical ambition helps keep slowdown to a minimum compared to Gradius III or Super R-Type. While it isn't the first shmup I would recommend on the system Super EDF is still solid.
An improvement over Super Star Wars and worse in other ways. I struggled with this one as there is a lot I like about it. But there are many small frustrating elements that bring it down in my opinion. Whether they bother you as much as they did me is subjective of course.
A decent port of the arcade game that probably should have been left for more powerful systems. There are too many better shooter options to settle for a slightly above average game.
Side Arms holds the distinction of being one of the first games I ever played for the TG-16. I remember it being brutally difficult but fun and that description holds up. This is a great arcade port and a solid shooter although it has stiff competition on the system.
An awesome action game with ridiculous production values. I can understand it might not be everyone's cup of tea if you like the old style of Turrican but personally I'll take this any day.
