Still one of the best rail shooters of all time. A great game that has held up beautifully outside of its blurry graphics.

I was about 7 years old when this came out. It made a big splash when it did! All the kids at school were talking about it. I played it at the house of one of my friends and was really jealous. Funny how Starfox is more of a historical footnote than a graphical tour de force these days.

Some arcade games should stay in the arcade. This is one of them.

One of the most accessible bullet hell shooters, if there even is such a thing. Still balls hard but entertaining as hell nonetheless.

A short but pretty god damn cool action RPG that is awesome to play in between longer epics. That engine was truly amazing and I can see why Snowblind used it for that entire generation.

I had that game on the Cube a couple times before, first being when it was new. I don't recall this crawling slowdown you speak of and I've finished it. Fantastic game, and it even had an isometric copycat of the entire game made up for the GBA too which is surprisingly really good given the limitations.

There are a few densely populated areas that it happens in consistently. Coming from the PS2 version the inconsistent framerate was noticeable. Overall though its not game breaking but if you have the choice I would recommend the other versions first.

Its 3-D World Runner II basically. The difficulty curve isn't as steep but otherwise this is exactly the same game. If it didn't grab you the first time the sequel won't change your mind.

A pretty dope Mega Man X clone that has flown under the radar. It has a few flaws but is a great game overall.
