Samurai Ghost

A middling action game that has been forgotten for a reason. The TG-16 deserved better.

And yet it was a sequel to an earlier NAMCO game. The first, also on PC Engine, was also obviously popular enough to demand another go.

Genpei Tōma Den was a better game than Samurai Ghost. Still don't know if I would call it good.

Firepower 2000

Often overlooked, I had a lot of fun with Firepower 2000. I'll freely admit that I also put it on the back burner at the time and misjudged it. I'm happy to admit my initial assumption swere wrong as the game is great.

Great arcade game, not so great home port. It isn't outright bad but this port could have and should have been better.

Not a bad game but not necessarily a memorable one either. Adequate describes it best.

Titan Warriors

This would have been an excellent addition to the system's shooter library and I can't fathom why it was cancelled. Even in its alleged unfinished state it has great graphics and tight gameplay and is far better than most of the shooters released on the NES. Its out there and if you like the genre I recommend giving it a spin.

Excellent art direction can't hide the fact that this can be a chore to play at times. A little more polish would have went a long way.

I'm not a pinball man myself but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. A bit tough but the gorgeous art and structure kept me coming back.

Alien Syndrome

A surprisingly solid port of Sega's arcade game. Too bad it is hard to find now, being unlicensed and all.
