Monster in my Pocket

Another strange Konami licensed title. This one is incredibly solid and is only let down by its short length and easy difficulty. I discovered this one through Nintendo Power and didn't think much of it but came away pleasantly surprised. A nice hidden gem.

An excellent if different take on the license. It can be clunky at times but the story and especially soundtrack are compelling enough to keep you going.

Captain Silver

This is one that I tried to like but couldn't. Even if all of its flaws were fixed it would still be slightly above average at best. Captain Silver just wasn't all that great to begin with.

El Viento

One of the Genesis' better action games early on. I really like this one, unlike the awful Earnest Evans. It is brought down by a massive difficulty spike toward the end that might sour you toward the game.

An excellent action/puzzle game that I stumbled into on a random rental growing up. I'm glad it still holds up although if you have low tolerance for high difficulty you might want to say away. This one got to me toward the end but is still so, so worth it.

Psycho Dream

A solid action game from Telenet that almost came to the US. Like the Valis series it doesn't do anything exceptional but is just a plain good game all around, minus that series' cutscenes.

Track & Field

Still good for pick up and play sessions. But it is light on content and once you master each event there is little reason to go back.

A solid port of the arcade game that could have been better.

Uninvited review is up http://www.classic-games.net/uninvited/

The last of the Macventure ports and probably the most accessible. I probably like this one the least of the three but still found it solid overall.

SD Kidou Senshi Gundam 2

A much better game than the awful first one. Not much has changed structurally but the pacing overall has been given a mild shot of adrenaline, making for a good afternoon of fun instead of the boredom the original gave.
