Oft forgotten, Sword Master is a solid game let down by its crushing difficulty. Had the game been more balanced I would recommend it in a heart beat. As it is only the truly patient and skilled need apply.

Some may recognize it from the Gameboy port that was localized but this is the original. This is not a straight up parody like Castlevania but simply a comedic take on Dracula that pokes fun at various games. Its also fantastic, like most Konami games from that era. Damn shame it wasn't brought over and is definitely worth tracking down.

An original IP that is highly creative but I will admit will not be for everyone. I enjoyed the hell out of it once I understood its mechanics but still think it could have used more content. Whats there is still great though.

This ranks up there as one of my biggest gaming disappointments. I loved Parasite Eve and was not expecting the sequel to go near full on survival horror. I like the game somewhat but the mechanics and charm that made the first game great are gone.
