Sometimes you can't get others into console or PC gaming. Sometimes it's just not for them. In those cases, you need to help them understand why you are into it. I mean, use sports as an example. There are tons of people who get hyped for basketball games who really can't and shouldn't play. But there's that element of belonging, associating with a team. There's also the fantasy element of imagining yourself in the game. Let your girlfriend know why you get into it, why it's good for you. And then ask her about some stuff she's into and try to help her, and yourself, see the similarities.
