Snatch Gaming Episode 5 published 06/25/15

Do you collect old games? Are you "cart content" or do you need something more to check a game off your want list? I take a look at some of the things I hope to see (or not see) when I find a game in the wild.

I always print my own inserts or my cart only titles. Anything Nintendo can kiss my ass. I can't stand cardboard, even if you take care of it, outside of buying a PLASTIC OVERCASE, it gets shelf wear. I always throw the Nintendo boxes away, no thanks Nintendo.

I like to stay ignorant of extras like maps, posters, etc. Otherwise I throw a tantrum when I become enlightened and they are not in my "complete" game.

And on the topic of rental stickers... it may sound stupid but I prefer to search for the super expensive crap with rental stickers (especially over the edges of cartridges), marker, and slightly beat up labels. It makes me feel like I might actually have a legit copy of Hagane or Little Samson in my hands when the market is becoming flooded with boots.

That's funny you mention the extras like maps and whatnot. I keep failing to pull the trigger on Miracle Warriors for the SMS because I rarely find it with the map for a good price. Found one without it for $10 this weekend and still didn't buy it. Dumb!

That's a great point about stickers on rare games. That would make me feel more comfortable it was the real deal like you said.

I take a look at the promotional posters included in Master System and Genesis games back in their hey day!

I take a look at one of the best games on Xbox Live Arcade that no one talks about anymore: Shadow Complex!

With MGS V: The Phantom Pain less than two months away, I take a look at Ground Zeroes to see if it justifies itself being the first purchasable demo. Also, will it revitalize my interest in the franchise???

Developer Crazy Viking tries to deliver a controller-throwing challenge with the looks of a 16-bit classic. Is it worth a purchase?

The first two modern Ninja Gaiden games were fantastic. Is the third one really a turd, or another golden nugget???
