I love the NGPC. As recently as a couple of years ago, I was carrying it around with me. Love fighting games, and it's still the only one that managed to get mobile fighting games right outside of extremely rare exceptions on other platforms.
But I'm sure you figured that just by my avatar.

One of your best episodes, and loved the after credits bit xD.

What are your opinions about repros? How about the issues we brought up in the episode, how do you feel about that?

Not sure why Joe hasn't been posting here lately.
The latest episode was wrt "Demo Discs"

My favorite demo discs were from the Official Playstation Magazine, during the PS1 era.
Besides the demos with cool menu music, they'd sometimes also include full (Net Yaroze) games.

Totally agree about Playstation Magazine demo series. I only own #33, but it has cool demos of threads of fate, Gauntlet legends, Deception III. I would like to collect them all if I could.

Re: The Game Sack Video Thread
When I got a PlayStation (fairly late) the demo disc it came with was amazing.
PlayStation Interactive Sampler Volume 8. With such a clever name it must be great! Well it is. It has MGS, Soul Reaver, Medieval, Gran Turismo, Parasite Eve, Test Drive 5, Cool Boarders 3, and a few others. It was a serious treat to try these demos the day I got the system. It filled my want list for years. This was the first time I ever heard about Legacy of Kain or Metal Gear, so it was a seriously influential item for me.
I loved the episode, and demo discs are something I enjoy greatly. The Interactive Sampler V.8 is easily the best one I've ever seen.
There's a few demo discs I'm kind of surprised they didn't cover, namely the pack in demo discs from Square on PS1 and stuff like the MGS2 demo in Zone of the Enders.
Maybe that's the idea? Since I never knew about most of the demo discs that were talked about.

Joe used to post on quite a few retro game communities, but I haven't seen him on any in months.
