My fave YT channel.
One question, though,
Is your beard making a comeback in the next episode?

I hope so. I'm pushing the hairs out as fast as I can. Hopefully by the time we shoot (Thursday) it'll look like nothing ever happened. I don't know if the silly haircut will have grown out. Totally worth it no matter what, though.

re: NAM-1975 - these types of games are sometimes called Cabal-clones, because that one's one of the earliest games of these types and is probably the most well-known. There was a thread about 'em on shmups.com a while back, here are some others people came up with:
Shoot Out - pre-Cabal Arcade game
Cabal - Arcade / various ports
Punisher - NES
Double Hawk - SMS
Predator 2 - Amiga / various systems
Spinal Breakers - Arcade
Blood Bros. - Arcade
Hard Times - Arcade - Blood Bros. hack?
Dynamite Duke - Arcade / ports
Dick Tracy -SMS / Genesis
Riot - Arcade
NAM-1975 - Neo Geo
Alligator Hunt - Arcade
Wild Guns - SNES
Pirates - Arcade - another Blood Bros. hack?
Sin & Punishment 1 / 2
Charge N' Blast
Zombie Panic in Wonderland

Good episode as always. I might have to get A Boy and His Blob even though I convinced myself that my Wii collection was done, lol. I also really need to finish Dynamite Headdy. Can't say I found the basketball mini game that hard though.
I hope you guys cover more of those RPG's next.

Your hair was hilarious, Joe.
Couldn't believe Dave was the one with a Dreamcast game on his list.
You guys should do system specific episoded like this.

Interesting games, but I'm actually surprised at how high the prices are. "under $20" isn't inexpensive for an older game. Nearly all my game purchases are under $20, and that includes games released this generation!

This.
I'm sure most of your viewers will have more than one system, but i'd have to assume most people looking to break into gaming on a budget will be looking for mainly one or two systems at a time. Would be neat to see an in depth breakdown of great cheap games for each system.
That aside, it was a good episode! I was unaware of your show until today, i'll definitely be watching in the future.

The prices they gave were also fairly high for what you'd find those games for in an average shop. Aside from when it came out, I don't think i've ever paid more than $3.99 for a copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (and i've actually bought that game quite a few times)
