Re: Amazing Blizzard Collection

Post by darsparx »

I used to play wow and enjoy it but i had the one month that came with it when my mom bought me the mists of pandaria stuff online. I need to get back into it, I still think it's a good game and doesn't feel as lackluster as every game that just honestly feels like what everyone seems to call "wow-clones". Especially since honestly a lot of them are just that, clones or at least very heavily inspired. Plus I know blizzard offers some of their older games online for free but i'm half tempted to track down some of their older stuff(already got my eye on a copy of blackthorne if I can just get a response from a certain member here)...

Woo, Fanatastic Pinball. Definitely a fun one with a light-hearted graphical style. It came on on the PS1 in Japan as well for anyone looking into it. Regarding Crue Ball, it isn't that great unfortunately. Also FYI KISS pinball on PS1 is pretty terrible. Twinkle Star Sprites also came out for a few consoles, so that should make it easier to pick up.

KISS Pinball is notorious because... it contains no actual KISS music! How freakin' LAME is that!?

There's that too. What gets me is Balls of Steel on PC was excellent, but the other pinball games the company made are meh or worse.

He mentions that in the video... They are tweaked a little bit for those systems so its not quite the same original arcade experience.

Very good video MJR! I learned about a few games I've never heard about such as Voodoo Vince, Wacked, Quantum Redshift and Murakumo. I know they are all very different games but which of those did you enjoy the most?
