Master System Manuals

Post by GHamilton »

This site seems amazing. Besides seeing a few posts on places like Digg, I actually never checked out the forums. I can't believe there's an entire forum dedicated to archiving items. First I want to say hello!

Anyway I've been a huge fan of the Master System for most of my life (it was the first system that I ever owned). Lately I've been collecting as many games as I can, and currently have 83 of the US releases. Most of which are in great condition with the manuals.

I've always felt it was important to digitally archive these items for posterity and was very happy to find this site and others that are passionate about archiving these items.

I only have 6 manuals archived currently but you can download them and use as you wish (they're DRM/watermark-free).

Alex Kidd in Shinobi World: http://ghamilton.net/files/SMS_Alex_Kidd_in_Shinobi_World_(manual).pdf
Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse: http://ghamilton.net/files/SMS_Castle_of_Illusion_Starring_Mickey_Mouse_(manual).pdf
Fantasy Zone: http://ghamilton.net/files/SMS_Fantasy_Zone_(manual).pdf
Golvellius Valley of Doom: http://ghamilton.net/files/SMS_Golvellius_Valley_of_Doom_(manual).pdf
King's Quest: Quest for the Crown: http://ghamilton.net/files/SMS_Golvellius_Valley_of_Doom_(manual).pdf
Ys The Vanished Omens: http://ghamilton.net/files/SMS_Ys_The_Vanished_Omens_(manual).pdf

I'm almost done with Alex Kidd in Shinobi World and should have that up tomorrow morning.

I'll post updates here as well as my blog http://ghamilton.net.

If there's any game that you really want to see the manual for, you can see my SMS games here: http://vgrebirth.org/community/games.as ... m&x=17&y=4

Just let me know and I'll try my best, or I'll continue to randomly archive ones when I have time.

Edit: Download links fixed, added all new ones.

Hey man, I wanted to give you a quick heads up about something. When I click the links, it brings me to a page that simply states "Download does not exist!" Is there something specific I need to be doing to check out the pdf?

Thanks for the heads up Ack. The forum software cut off part of the link when automatically generating the link. Fixed it up with some BBCode, so the links should work now.

I have added two more, Golvellius Valley of Doom and King's Quest: Quest for the Crown. Instead of posting a reply after each time I add one, I'm just going to update the original post. Remember if you want to see anyone in particular just let me know and I'll try to accommodate.

Don't worry about it, I don't do it for fame and glory. I do it, probably like most of us who do, for the love of it.

I'll continue churning them out.
