Over the next few weeks I'll be making good use of my work's photocopier by scanning my entire collection of old magazines. It'll be just the covers, not the whole issues, although I could manage particular reviews and features if people want.

The magazines will be:

- Nintendo Magazine System
- Official Nintendo Magazine
- Nintendo Official Magazine
- Nintendo The Official Magazine
- Nintendo Official Magazine UK

Also, I don't have so many of these, but I will also upload some N64 and NGC magazine, as well as any other random ones I find.

Nostalgia go! :)

Here's the first batch:

Issue 42 - March 1996

The first magazine I ever received. I'd only had my Super Nintendo for 2 or 3 months!
Check out the Nintendo Ultra 64 logo on the cover! Now that's oooold!

Issue 44 - May 1996

Issue 46 - July 1996

Issue 47 - August 1996

Mario looks like he's got the mumps here!

Issue 48 - September 1996

Issue 50 - November 1996

I love in the top left corner the "NAMCO'S N64 PLANS REVEALED". What's on that page? A blank space?

Issue 52 - January 1997

You might want to check out the site retromags.com. Some of these magazines are old enough that they would appreciate full scans if you have some time.

If I had my own scanner I would consider it but I can't stand around at work for hours on end scanning entire magazines!

Anyway, here is the next batch. Moving on in time slightly, the N64 has just reached Europe.

Just a heads up, I am the co-owner of a magazine preservation site (if interested in the name and a link please PM, as I am not sure if it is kosher to post such things in the open). We are currently working on a set of these Nintendo Magazine System issues and uploading them as we can (we have already released the 1st issue and I am working on issue #6 because it was requested).

Nice, that'll be interesting to take a look at. What's the address of the site? It's not Mean Machines Archive by any chance?

It is Out of Print Achive (http://www.outofprintarchive.com). We are working diligently with certain people that own the rights to many magazines that we plan to release (of course, we are releasing some that we don't have support or permission from too). Let me know what you think of it.
