Sega's game archive

Post by GagaMan »

Sega of America have a storage room supposedly featuring sealed copies of every game they have EVER produced:
http://blogs.sega.com/usa/2008/08/07/th ... e-archive/
They have a bunch of photos up on Flikr, take note every shelf has at least double what you see behind it too.
They also seem to have some non Sega stuff it seems, like SNES and 3D0 games for some reason. You can also see hundreds of original Dreamcast GD-R's with source copies of the games.

Maybe the Sega guys could play some of the old games and learn a little.

Look at this photo at full size and read through those burned discs they have.

Propeller Arena Demo

a whole bunch of E3 and TGS demos.

Bomberman ALPHA (toy fair)?

DEE DEE PLANET FINAL

=O

For people that don't know what Dee Dee Planet is, it was a game a lot like Death Tank that they showed off once but never released. One of those discs implies they own a complete version of that game. Video: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Vv5qGfl-b9s
