These guys are awesome.
I tried to provide a link for Sync on Luma SCART cables, but all of my regular suppliers are out. Does anyone make them anymore? I'd sell one with a lightgun passthrough if someone's can't find one elsewhere.
I agree on earlier PS2 consoles outputting less signal noise, and Texture Filtering is a bad choice.
I've never run a PS1 game on a PS3, but my friend swears by it. The uneven scaling would drive me nuts.

Though a different system, have to comment. I had been planning to either buy or mod a set of 32x patch cables to accommodate the stereo jack on my Model 1 Genesis.

They are awesome. I just hate how they both talk to you like you are 5 years old. I mean their audience is mostly mid to late 30s and early 40s. There is no need for the Sesame Street style of talking, hehe. Their How to Beat series is amazing!
