I was going to say, keep them in climate-controlled areas, at a minimum. Mine are mostly stashed in my closet or in various cabinets, but they're all in climate-controlled areas. It gets really, really hot down here in the South, so I can imagine the wild temperature swings being brutal on old hardware.
