Mikenac's Game Room and Collection

Post by mikenac »

Well my wife and I just moved a month ago and I'm finally getting everything situated. The room consists of two parts, the tv area, and then the step down area which has my computers and slot machines. I just moved my consoles into some cabinets I picked up. I would love to keep them in the built in shelves in the step down room but my wife and I decided since we are about to have a baby to get them off the floor and into some cabinets and let him have the built ins for his toys (which will hopefully be video games! haha)

I don't have a good picture of the tv area but here is the step down area

Sorry for the glare in the pictures but here are the cabinets I picked up. I think I already need bigger ones haha

Looking good! I hope to embark on a similar project in 2017, and I will definitely be searching these types of threads for inspiration. Keep us updated as it comes along!

Everyone else has some company except for that poor little Dreamcast all alone on that shelf. :P

Your setup is coming along very nicely. I like!

just FYI, the cabinets will NOT fit my 2600, the odyssey2, or the N64 24ct game holder as you can see. I had to put them on top. I would love some cabinets in the future that are deep enough for that though.

I only really use the wheel setup with iRacing. forza only displays on one screen...not sure how to span it to 3

Simple and effective! I personally wouldn't want closing drawers for shelving like that, but otherwise... I like it a lot. Very nice.
