Now I will never be happy with my cd deck. $580 is too rich for me, but *draw job*.

Forget that nonsense, you want this beacon glowing in your dash.

Yeah, I could settle for either. The panasonic is beautiful too, I don't know about a tube amp pushing much wattage for four channels though. I wouldn't bankroll them anyway. I can't believe I was tired enough for a typo of that magnitude. *draw job* < *jaw drop*

We talked about the tube amp a couple months ago here. It is apparently just for show.

Random question...

Anybody have experience with Pioneer "CD File Type" Cd changer? This particular one is pd-f807, and from what I can see it needs a separate component to work with a remote. I'm trying to figure out which receivers would be compatible, besides the single obvious one on ebay that is going for an insane price.

Dad had one. It broke.

Since I moved my record player to my kitchen/dining room, I rewired my home theater over the weekend. My 1970s RCA record player tower, now holds my Wiiu, Bluray player, Receiver, VCR, and has an open space for my wife's PS2 eventually. I currently just move a pc over if I need a HTPC (gaming pcs are on the other side of the room), but my next Monoprice order will get me a 75 foot HDMI cable so even those wont have to move.

The big improvement was that I moved one of my subs into the area that once held the receiver and bluray player. After a few minutes of tinkering, I dialed it in and now that one sub shakes the entire wall (its at about 73Hz and 60% volume). I am still going with a dual sub system, one for high and one for low, but that one sub in the smaller space made the Trex roar in Jurassic Park scare my wife on the other side of the house. Pretty badass for a $10 sub. Now to figure out how to mount the screen for the projector and build that riser.

http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-RS120- ... +rs+120+ii

My brother got me a pair of these for Christmas. I've been thinking about getting a pair of wireless headphones for a while now, so I mentioned that to him. Usually I'm not a wireless kind of guy, but there's a few instances. Like when I wanna use headphones when playing the digital piano or guitar, the wire REALLY gets annoying.

I haven't messed around with them much yet. I was using them with the digital piano for 5-10 minutes to try them out, but I didn't feel like reading the directions.

It looks like a pretty nice set Ziggy. My Grandfather has a close model to those, several generations older, but they sound good for wireless. No real interference issues either. Let us know how you feel about them after you spend some time with them.
