8Bit's Game Room and Collection - Sega Added (5/8)

by 8bit Tue Feb 18, 2014 1:02 am

Thanks for stopping by to check out my game room and collection. A lot of you guys here have added to it personally so thank you. I hope you enjoy taking a look!

A couple of fun points of interest around the room...
- The couch is a sleeper sofa so friends who come over can spend the night here.
- The console boxes and fight sticks rotate in and out once in a while because I have more than I can display.
- The total number of games in those shelves is somewhere around 1200 with a little room to grow.
- At least eight of the consoles are modded in some way (region, video, or chipped).
- The Virtual Boy is playing a Sega Nomad because it is bored with itself.

Love it! What did you do to get the Virtua Boy to sit like that on the shelf? I need to find a way to incorporate my collection in my home decor and that looks like a really cool way to do it.

It looks like it is just on its stand?

It is tilted diagonally though, as if the stand is on a ramp, but with the weight of the top heavy weight of the system, wouldn't it just fall off?

This is one of - if not the - most tastefully decorated game rooms I have ever seen on any forum. Great work, 8bit!

EDIT: The cocktail table is killing me. Those will be the first things I buy for my game room after my wife and I build a new home.

I've seen it in person. It's good stuff.

Right before moving that blasted TV!

Honestly, this is close to how I want my nerd cave to look when I get a space for one. Very well done.
