Still, that's plenty. I really need to catch up on everything Nintendo and I can't wait to branch out to other consoles. I really want to get a Neo Geo AES one of these days but they are so dang expensive on the net. Once I get a job it'll be taking off in no time. As for your question about Sega-16, yes, you can find me there. I have a few shmups. Arrow Flash, Thunder Force II, Forgotten Worlds and Sol-Feace for the Sega CD. However, I'm missing a lot of good ones like Eliminate Down, Gaiares, M.U.S.H.A., Gleylancer, etc I am really wanting to get my hands on M.U.S.H.A. but it's rare. I also want to get Silpheed and it's much easier to get. Overall, I'm still missing a lot of quality Genesis titles. I happened to come across two Mega Drive (JP) games. One is Ninja Burai Densetsu and the other is NHK Taiga Drama. I put them alphabetically with the Genesis games after getting their translations so you should be able to notice them in the pics. I'm also waiting on a CIB Mega Jet to come in the mail.

For the Neo Geo, the CD system is much more cost effective. It is the cheapest way to get started in Neo Geo, so it's worth a consideration. A consolized MVS is probably the cheapest long-term solution, but nothing beasts the awesomeness of an AES system!

You NEED Thunder Force III and IV (aka. Lightening Force). DO NOT DELAY! Make these your next video game purchases. Silpheed is truly awesome on the Sega CD, and fortunately it's fairly cheap and easy to find. Of course, stuff like Bari Arm (aka. Android Assault), Robo Aleste and Lords of Thunder are amazing shoot 'em ups on the Sega CD. There are others, but those are a great start! Also, get Soul Star if you haven't gotten it already.

Overall, a JP Mega Drive/Mega CD combo is a bit pointless if you have a Genesis/Sega CD unless you are a collector of all things Sega. Since it looks like you fit this profile, you might as well get a Mega Drive/Mega CD! How about looking into a Wonder Mega system (model 1, Sega or Victor, looks the coolest to me)? Definitely wait until you have a job before getting this, as it is NOT cheap.

Yeah, I'm hoping to start a Japanese Mega Drive collection. After all, those versions of the Genesis localizations (in terms of games) are usually superior in certain aspects.

Your room is awesome man! I guess you can never have enough Sega consoles. I really like the posters in your room as well. Gives a nice vibe to the room. I also really like your white TV stand, just wondering where you got it?

Which one? If it's the one for the HDTV, it's just a bunch of closet boards and custom cut boards for more shelves from Home Depot. The other one with the Zenith TV was probably from Target. It's a hand-me-down from my parents ever since the TV mounting craze set in.

How are you using the RGB to componet? Do you have an upscaler or something of that nature?
