Simple, yet effective.

What I like about my game room is that it doesn't really look like a hardcore gamer room. You can see a PS2 and an N64, but you don't see games and controllers littered all over the place.



The games are hidden in the side walls of the TV stand and the controllers are hidden behind the AV stack that includes an amplifier, DVD player, VHS player, PS2, and N64. There are also about a dozen games kept in a small CD Case Logic binder also hidden behind the stack with a nice headphone set.

What you don't see are the following games in the side walls of the TV stand (UPDATED! 7/12/2009):

Yeah, not what your typical basement dwelling gamer is used to, but I find the sunshine and fresh air to be nice. I even venture outside on occassion. There's a swimming pool right off the balcony there that isn't shown in the picture.

The computer room is not so minimal. I call it the spacestation:



Here's a close up where you can see the M-Audio Pro 88 keystation, the Roland JV-1010 synthesizer module, the M-Audio Delta Series sound card with external mixer, and also next to the monitor is an electronic yodelling pickle (which is rad).


And over here you can see the Korg MS2000 analog modeling synthesizer, the Behringer DX100 pro mixer, the Alesis airFX, and a microphone with tube hook up that stretches down into a Rocktron Banshee talkbox so I can sing like a robot in California Love.
