heres a new version of coinops for xbox,its called coinops gold and currently in beta form so please leave feedback.
i will post the finished biuld once its released.
all games have been keymapped properly,games like ikari warriors and forgotten worlds which use a 360 degree rotary joystick can now be turned full 360 degrees left and right by using the back triggers.you can now use the throttle in afterburner2 by pressing the back trigger.fixeight is now fixed,sound added to toaplan2 games.also lightgun support has been added.
also for anyone who enjoys streetfighter alpha 3 then heres a standalone emu just for sfa3 which loads the game directly from your dashboard.rom not included.

remember to get coinops to work you have to phisically move the tdata and the udata in the gamesave folder to tand udata in your e drive.

What would recommend this over MAMEoX?

yeah- i'm curious how this compares.

what versions of mameox do you guys use?
also there is going to be another update coming with new drivers added and more games being fixed.
also guys there is going to be a new version of fbaxxx released shortly for xbox by nes6502 which is going to let you play loads of games that werent playable before on xbox like powerdrift,turbo outrun,ab cop,dd crew,dodonpachi 2....

edit/i have taken down the link to the beta and once the official standalone release is out then i will repost the new verion with better details of the added features.
