Super Mario Advance 4 - All 38 e-Reader Levels

Some clever people over on GBATemp have managed to take these changes out of the Wii U eShop game and make a patch for v1.1 of the original game, allowing anyone to take a crack at these fun, albeit obscure stages.

It's nice to read that Nintendo has upped its game frm the days when it's Wii VC was basically a ROM factory and it felt it could justify releasing a physical disk release of the SMAS rom with zero extras! This sounds more like the Nintendo that created stuff like Super Mario Bros DX and gave away its NES library with Animal Crossing GC.

Zero extras? It came with a Mario history book and audio CD, as well as really nice packaging.

Well worth the disk space. They didn't even bother to make the PAL version run at 60hz...like all of the ROMS they dumped onto the Wii VC.

My Shining Force (MD) graphics hack will have a first demo patch release pretty soon. WIP thread here:
http://forums.shiningforcecentral.com/v ... =3&t=33565

Combine it with the recently released gameplay improvement for a more complete overhaul (or wait for the next version of it, with some restored items and more enemy AI improvements):

If you want to play Sonic 1 and 2 with improved flow, more connectivity between paths, fewer cheap hits and leaps of faith, and somewhat more consistent difficulty then try these hacks I've made:

This makes me sad that there are no Shadowrun Rom hacks:

There is a minor one for the MD game, and a big one in progress.

I've still yet to get into that one although I've heard its highly rated by fans of the pen and paper game. The SNES one is the one with all the nostalgia for me.

I'm always kind of surprised by the narrow interest of Rom hackers in general. Do we really need another Super Mario World Kaizo game when stuff like Skyblazer or Demon's Crest could be plundered to create something awesome.

Is it harder to hack other games or something?
