What kind of system requirements are there to get good performance?

The 2nd public release of NullDC is out. It's a MASSIVE update. They don't even begin to list all the changes they made.

Can't wait til I get my gaming rig back up and I can try this out.

Reccomended requirements here:

http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=58165

My current system is a 1.3 ghz Intel Celeron M, 512mb RAM, 32mb radeon 9000 video card though, and I have Soul Calibur running at full speed. Its great for weak systems. =)

Oooooh, thanks for posting. Was just wondering when a newer version would be out. Very exciting!

That is really nice. Whenever it's too much trouble to plug your DC (if you have it) you can always try the emulator. Although I personally don't have a good pad to use with DC games.

Are there unripped versions of GD-ROM games as well? As it is an emulator one could use the real image instead of having to fit it into a CD. I think Mozgus was discussing this stuff in another thread once.

Yes there is. Your best bet is to get on UG and download the newest TOSEC collection. Here it is.

Thanks for the link. I haven't got my new machine yet, and may only get it in December or so (I know, I know - sorry to have wasted everyone's time as by the time I go get it the advice is obsolete - I thought I was going to get it much sooner). I'm thinking of only getting into Saturn and DC emulators, and also into torrents and such after I have my new hardware.

has anyone managed to get Ikaruga to run on emu's properly, I 'have' it for DC and GC, but I want to get some nice screenies of it to make wallpaper out of, because I think it is one of the most aesthetically pleasing games ever :p

I tried to to run a .gdi of it in Nemul, nullDC and Chankast but had no luck :(

I had the right bios as the spiral was orange, so i dont know what to do :s
