I feel obligated to recommend this game to anyone who enjoys Medieval themes, Sid Meier's Pirates, amazing combat, or just awesome games in general. Not to mention the developers are small time and really deserve support so they continue making amazing games and updates to this one.

http://www.taleworlds.com/Another great thing about the game is that the developers really support player created mods and there are many of the available. My personal favorite is a crafting mod. There's also a very promising western mod in the works.
Anyway, check it out for yourselves. It's at least worth a try.
