So I completely forgot there are HD DVD/BD combo players. If you're patient, you can find them for roughly $80. I'm actually in the market for another BD player so I may just purchase one of these, allowing me to pick up some of the cheaper HD DVDs (vs BD counterparts) & the few exclusives left. Not as sexy as the 360 player but worth noting for anyone following this thread.
