If you're like me, you still love your PSP. Personally I plan to continue to play the platform for years to come. That said, the PSP has long been abandoned by Sony due to its Vita successor. Because of that, you might be surprised to know that even this year; 2015, the PSP has gotten official Western releases. It has also received notable fan translations this year. I will highlight the 2015 releases that I think are worth knowing about. So, if you still hold a flame in your heart for the PSP, this thread's for you. It's time to dig that ol' PSP out from under the dirty sock pile in your closet and boot 'er up for ol' time's sake.

Outside of Class of Heroes 3 and Summon Night 5, all that I know we in the West have to look forward to is continued fan translation support from the wonderful hacking community. So stay tuned to GBATemp and RHDN for news of that sort of stuff.

Edit: Thanks alienjesus!

Summon Night 5 is due out this year still for PSP as a physical release as well. I have a copy on order from Gaijin Works.

Forgot about that one, I will add it to the main post.

Hail Falcom.

I for one do hail Falcom.

I would hail them even more, if more of their games were actually released in English though.

It's getting better though. Trails of Cold Steel is getting officially released on Vita and PS3. Provided it sells well, we'll likely get Trails of Cold Steel II also.

Tokyo Xanadu on the other hand still doesn't have a release date over here, nor does Eiyuu Densetsu: Ao no Kiseki Evolution. And who knows what's even going on with Ys 8 at this point.

The description on Amazon still says
...collectible clamshell-type box that will also be able to house the sequel when it releases in 2016...

Obviously nothing is set in stone, but it sounds like they're planning on it, so my hopes are high.

Well I missed the news, but back on December 15th, Summon Night 5 was released in English:

http://www.gaijinworks.com/about/psp-on ... n-night-5/

Playable on PSP and Vita.

It's neat that there's a fan translation of the Digimon game for PSP. I may never play it though. I don't care for turn-based JRPGs.

I'm still hoping Monkeypaw comes through with the official localization of CoH 3.
