Well the rock thing is wrong, but that is exactly how they talked in ancient China, 100%. They got the right inflection and everything.

2001 must have been a dark time for Trey Parker.

One thing I loved about DW3 was the death element, which a few characters had on their best weapon. One hit kills on peons and massive damage on officers

Well, carefully on which side of the fence you are saying that, bunch of Asian-Americans, including yours truly, really hated the English VA in all Koei games, either do proper dubs or just do subtitles - I got no qualms if the game is entirely in Japanese or Chinese, just NEVER do a crap English voice over.

Back to OP, well DW5 is maybe the better choice on PS2, but I have played Hyrule Warriors a bit, and it is not a re-skin Warriors entirely - in fact some of the harshest Warriors critics did praise Hyrule Warriors.

True, it is the only element that gets you thru Chaos mode, Fire was totally useless and many characters had that element, my bro did try grinding for a better weapon for Ma Chao (his "ultimate" weapon was "horse" crap). We do like in 8 XL where you can mod your ultimate weapon.

If you're a fan of Gundam at all... check out the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games!

Also, if you have a Wii-U check out Hyrule Warriors.

I'm a little late weighing in, but my vote is firmly for #3. When that came out my best friend and I played the everliving shit out of it and loved every minute. All told, I've played 2-5, Samurai Warriors, and now 8... got a little annoying on PS2 after 3 in my opinion, though 8 is excellent.

Hyrule Warriors is still the best incarnation of the Warriors series IMO though.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
