what do you think of the simpsons arcade game on xbla/psn?

i think the game is really rad..i was just a bit dissapointed that its 800 points instead of 400; i wish they added widescreen support & cooler achievements. what do you think? i can see it getting boring eventually its pretty simplistic

This was one of my top 3 arcade favorites of all time, so I'm all for it being ported anywhere.

The early screenshots looked hideous though.

I thought it was out next week. So I can't tell you what I think of it yet. But I'm beyond excited. This has long been one of my wishlist games to be ported. And now we'll have 4-player online co-op.

yeah every combination of 2 characters had a special move together. Such an awesome game.

yes -- as I mentioned above, 4 player online co-op.

no -- not really. It got shitty C64 and PC ports, but never had a port that even got close to resembling the real arcade game.

Ah, didn't see your post, just the OP's one that didn't reveal much besides the cost. Yeah, I'll probably be getting this then, if there were a GEN or SNES version I'd probably have gotten one of those, but seeing what the two alternatives are, I'd much rather have the downloadable version.
