I'm going to try to get an official ps2 multitap to work on a ps1, by using an controller extention-cord.

Be warned though that using extention cords generally do not work well with multitap adapters. I had that happen with both of my official multitaps
-official ps2 phat multitap
-official super famicom Hudson multitap

So yeah, it might not work...... I'll then tear that ps1 apart if that is what it takes!

What will that achieve? It was said years ago, right in this topic, ps1 games don't recognize official ps2 multitaps.

I have the official multitap for both systems. I paid a total of $8 for them. It's cheap enough just to get both.

I got a second official ps multitap coming this way to test if Micro Machines V3 can handle 2 multitaps.
(I also tried the ps2 multitap on the ps, but that does not allow 4 players)
